Kohl'S Ranch Lodge - Payson

The grounds were beautiful and conveniently located. The staff is friendly and the fireplace in the lobby with seating was very enjoyable. It was nice to have a full kitchen.

The bed was hard and made it difficult to get a good night's rest. The check-in process was slow and confusing, and the odor from the septic tank was unpleasant.

The room was very nice, clean, and comfortable. We appreciated having a real coffee pot and real mugs for our morning coffee. The walk-in shower was great and added to the overall comfort of our stay.

There were a few downsides to our experience. The bed was a little too firm for our taste, although it was a king size bed which was a bonus.

spacious kitchenette rooms with large outdoor deck; multitude of activities offered; western entertainment in the saloon on Sat. night; took a nice leisurely walk along the beautiful creek.

menu prices were a little high for the quality of food; next time will bring some steaks and use their grills located throughout the property.

I loved the location, it was near the Tonto Creek and Christopher Creek. It was right across the road that leads to the Fish Hatchery. There were lots of hiking trails located close by.

Great night! Amazing place, with friendly staff and very clean rooms. The restaurant served delicious food, especially the pizza. We loved sitting by the fire pit and making new friends. We didn't even feel the need to leave the property. Can't wait to go back!

Room disappointment. Our room didn't match the cozy picture we saw online.

The appearance of the room and accomodations of the room. For a hotel, the bed was very comfortable

Everything was excellant about the hotel, until the morning. I was just about to get in the shower and the power went off. When we contacted the front desk, we were informed that the local power company was repairing power cables. Apparently, Kohls Ranch was informed the day before, the power outage was to occur at 9am, but did not inform us in any way, not even at check in, that the power would be off from 9am to 12pm thus I was not able to shower - since it was pitch dark in the bathroom and I could not have dried my hair. When I spoke to the front desk upon leaving, how upset I was, the manager was standing right there- no one appologized or even said anything. HOnestly I think we should have at least recieved some kind of reimbursement or compensation. Then we were also not told that the resteraunt was not open on week days. Thus we had to travel 40 miles to have breakfast! I was very disappointed in the lack of information provided by the hote on these 2 items.

The cabin was great . First time I booked a cabin. The front desk staff was very welcoming and friendly.

Part of my group went to the lounge in the evening and found it to be an unpleasant experience. Staff were rude and as were in there to hang out with their friend instead of doing their job. Looked no no supervision. Bartender was doing an 8 pour for friends. Cook was in the lounge drinking with wife and small baby so I question if that was safe idea. The entire party the came with me to cabin we are in the service industry and were set back by the entire feeling and customer service. When they went to pay the bill a young lady who had not served them took their money then asked "what no tip"

kohls ranch lodge was a delightful surprise. the newly renovated rooms were cozy and equipped with all the necessary amenities, including a coffee pot and microwave. the on-site restaurant served the most delicious smoked meat we've ever had. we enjoyed the beautiful mountain lodge experience with modern comforts.

Breakfast not available as advertised.

For people at 6" and above, you should guard or round off thr corners of the roof line on the deck (coming inside).The last thing people want is to add suffering to the memory at Kohls ranch!

Geat place for relaxation.

We got great value for our money at Kohl's Ranch Lodge. The room was comfortable and nicely remodeled, and the location by Tonto Creek was amazing. The staff treated us well and were very accommodating.

The only thing that could improve is the breakfast offerings.

We had a wonderful time. Our 5 year old loved playing in the creek, tennnis, basketball, playing on the playground. It was great to be so close to several lakes. It was very relaxing. The staff went out of their way to assist us. Will definitely go back!

We loved our stay, and will be back. The staff was all very friendly, and it was an excellent experience. One of the best hotels we have ever been to. My husband actually left behind two expensive shirts. We were immediately notified, and they mailed them back to us. World-class customer service & attention is everywhere on the property!!

The patio room upgrades were wonderful. Friendly staff throughout. Beautiful access to outdoors. Well-equipped and clean room. Lovely and well-maintained grounds. Dreamy bed and well-appointed Kitchenette.

Don't have any issues at all.

Location , access to surrounding areas. Rooms were comfortable.
